In the 14th century, a French noblewoman named Jeanne de Clisson lost everything. Her husband was executed unjustly. Her home was taken. Her future was erased.

     So she built a fleet.

     She painted her ships black and dyed their sails blood-red. She named her flagship Ma Vengeance—My Revenge—and spent the next thirteen years hunting the men who had wronged her. She was ruthless. She was brilliant. She was unforgettable.
